The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Plateau State on Friday formally endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for a second term ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The endorsement was announced during a stakeholders’ meeting in Jos, where Nentawe Yilwatda, the APC National Chairman, who is from the state delivered a speech rallying support for Tinubu’s re-election bid.

Yilwatda praised Tinubu’s leadership, citing achievements in economic growth, infrastructure, education, healthcare, and youth empowerment as evidence of a progressive administration worthy of continuity.

“We have every reason to give President Bola Ahmed Tinubu a second term,” he said, highlighting economic growth and oil production gains under Tinubu’s leadership.

He emphasized that Tinubu had given a voice to marginalised groups, referencing the appointment of the first Managing Director of the North Central Development Commission from Plateau State.

Yilwatda described APC as the “bride of the moment,” revealing that more senators, governors, and National Assembly members are quietly returning to the party, including some from PDP and ADC.

Yilwatda urged party members to remain united, saying the APC is healthy, growing stronger, and fully prepared to secure electoral victory in Plateau and across Nigeria in 2027.
