Habeeb Okikiola Olalomi, also known as “Portable,” the Nigerian street hop artist who was declared wanted by the Nigeria Police Force, has reportedly turned himself in to authorities in Ogun State.

Portable was wanted by the Nigeria Police Force, specifically the office of the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Criminal Investigation Department, State Police Headquarters Eleweran,1 Abeokuta, Ogun State. A warrant for his arrest was issued by a Magistrate Court in Ogun State.

According to a police bulletin issued by the authority of the Inspector General of Police, Portable was wanted for several serious offenses, including conspiracy, serious assault, going armed, conduct likely to cause a breach of public peace, and attempted murder.

These charges stem from an incident on February 5, 2025, at approximately 10:00 am in Oke-Osa, Tigbo Ilu, Ota, Ogun State. It is alleged that Portable recruited armed thugs who attacked officials of the Ogun State Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development, Ota Zonal Office.

The wanted bulletin described Portable’s last known address at Odogun Bar/Restaurant Oke-Osa Tigbo Ilu, Ota, Ogun State.

While details of his turning himself in remain sparse, sources suggest that Portable presented himself at a police station in Ogun State earlier today. Police are yet to officially confirm these reports.

If confirmed, this development marks a significant turn in the case, which has drawn considerable public attention due to Portable’s fame. It is expected that Portable will be processed and interrogated by the Criminal Investigation Department at the State Police Headquarters in Eleweran, Abeokuta, regarding the charges against him.
