In a shocking incident that has gripped Orozo community, a man identified as Oluwatimileyin Ajayi was apprehended during a church service for allegedly carrying the severed head of his girlfriend in a polybag.

The incident unfolded on Sunday morning during a thanksgiving service at a local church.

According to witnesses, a church member noticed Ajayi’s suspicious behavior near a river close to the church. When approached, Ajayi attempted to dispose of the bag in the river, which was later discovered to contain the decapitated head.

Church members quickly intervened, detaining Ajayi until police arrived. In a video circulating online, Ajayi admitted to killing his girlfriend following a dispute over her phone. He claimed he was instructed by an unknown woman to bring the head.

The gruesome discovery has sparked outrage and horror within the community, with the suspect now in police custody. Ajayi, who has been identified as a gospel singer, faces severe legal consequences as investigations continue.
