On Friday, March 15, 2019, Glenmorangie Nigeria will host the Polo Club President’s cocktail at the prestigious Lagos Polo Club, Awolowo road, Ikoyi.

A week-long series of polo and fashion activities, the tournament will take place between Wednesday, March 13th through Sunday, March 24, 2019, bringing together polo players, enthusiasts and society’s elite.

The President’s cocktail which marks the beginning of the weekend activities will be a night of smooth music, Luxury cocktails and beautiful people.

The highly anticipated Polo Tournament will take place on two consecutive weeks; 13th – 17th and 20th–24th March respectively at at the Lagos Polo Club, Awolowo road, Ikoyi.

Polo has overtime gained popularity in Nigeria especially among the elites with notable players and proponents such as Buba brothers, Bello and Hamisu; Sayyu Dantata; Yinka and Adeyemo Alakija; Jamilu Mohammed, Marruda Shehu, Ibrahmi Mohammad, Dawule Baba and Uneke Atawodi who have been instrumental in sustaining the relevance of the equestrian sports in the country.
