After many weeks of suspense and political horse-trading, President Muhammadu Buhari Tuesday finally sent his full list of ministerial nominees to the Senate for confirmation.
The much awaited list which was read by President of the Senate, Ahmad Lawan, comes two days before the upper legislative chamber will embark on its six week annual recess.
Nigerians have expressed concern over the delay in submitting ministerial list, about two months after President Buhari was sworn in for a second term and five months after winning the 2019 presidential election.
Economic experts say the delay led to Nigeria slipping into recession in 2016.
