The number of patients claimed by the deadly Coronavirus has risen to ten while the total number of confirmed cases jumped to 318, the centre for disease control said Saturday night.
It is unclear where the latest death occurred but the report of the latest death comes as the medical association and the health ministry wrangle over whether a Chinese medical team in the country should be allowed to step in to help.
Of the 13 new confirmed cases announced at 9:30 tonight, Lagos has 11 while Delta and Kano has one each.
Seventy patients have so far been discharged.
