Nigeria’s Covid-19 cases cross 4000 mark, with 239 new infections confirmed

The number of covid-19 cases in Nigeria rose to 4151 on Saturday, as 239 new infections were added.

While Lagos retained its first position with 97 cases, Bauchi came second with 44 infections, beating Kano to the third position with 29, according to Nigeria Centre for Disease Control.

The numbers for other states were as follows: 19-Katsina,17-Borno, 7-FCT, 6-Kwara, 5-Oyo, 3-Kaduna, 3-Sokoto, 2-Adamawa, 2-Kebbi, 2-Plateau, 2-Ogun, 1-Ekiti.

NCDC said in its Twitter handle that 745 patients have been discharged, while 128 have died.
