President Muhammadu Buhari will today (Tuesday) receive Mark Rutte, the Prime Minister of the Netherlands at the State House, Presidential Villa, Abuja
The visit follows President Buhari’s visit to the Netherlands in 2018 to the country regarded as one of Nigeria’s largest trading partner, with trade volume of over €3bn (N1.2 trillion), in 2018, according to the National Bureau of Statistics, NBS.
The total trade volume is composed of imports from the Netherlands which stood at €726m and Nigeria’s exports to the Netherlands of € 2.29bn, composed mainly of petroleum products
Both leaders are expected to witness the signing of bilateral agreements, after the consultative meetings between the delegations of the Netherlands and Nigeria
The signing ceremonies are expected to follow the bilateral consultative meeting and a business roundtable that will hold at the Presidential Banquet Hall.
President Buhari and his guest will later address a joint press conference at the Presidential Banquet Hall.
