Eniolorunda Oludotun, the Chairman of National Forum of Heads of Federal Establishment, Osun chapter, has called on government at all levels to invest in the tourism sector in order to boost the nation’s economy during the association’s visit to Osun-Osogbo grove in Osogbo, as part of activities to mark the Civil Service Week.
According to him, the tourism sector is money spinning investment and should be used to showcase Nigeria’s heritage and culture to the outside world.
Prof. Oluwayemi Pitan, who also spoke, urged civil servants to always find time for relaxation.
Pitan, who noted that relaxation was good for healthy living, urged civil servants to always find time to visit tourist centres for relaxation
He said Nigerians should be encouraged to visit the country’s tourists’ centres rather than travelling abroad.
