Ife Ibitokun is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer at BizNurture Financial Services Limited, an alternative lending company with the mission to support the growth of small and medium-sized enterprises through the provision of alternative finance.
Their online lending platform provides a fast, convenient, easy-to-access and round-the-clock access to loans and as such, SMEs can apply for loans from the comfort of their homes and offices, gaining access to required funding in as low as 48 hours.
Beyond providing loans, they also advise small business owners on the type of loan that best suits their business. They understand that fixed monthly repayment plans do not work for all SMEs, as a result; they have made their repayment plans flexible, tailored to match the cash flow of each business.
Utilising her 12-year extensive experience in the financial sector, from working in institutions such as Guaranty Trust Bank, to structuring facilities up to the tune of $83million, Ife brings her expertise in business strategy, banking, sales and marketing, fundraising, financial and credit analyses, business development and financial modeling in leading BizNurture.
Ife is also passionate about sharing experiences with women and is an associate member of WimBiz, the largest gathering of women in business, management and public service in Africa, as well as a member of GodsOwnDiva Club.
She also coaches individuals on personal and business finance through speaking engagements, training, and consultation; and has a training program to help those who want to start lending businesses in Nigeria with systems, processes and structure for them.
In addition to the aforementioned, Ife is a Chartered Accountant, holds a certification in Disruptive Strategy from Harvard Business School, an MBA from Cranfield University School of Management, United Kingdom; a certification in Japanese Industry and Management from Kobe University, Japan and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Lagos, Nigeria.
Ibitokun’s key responsibilities include providing general oversight over all activities of the business, building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships, overseeing customer account management, including negotiating contracts and agreements to maximise profit, generating new businesses and identifying opportunities to increase top-line and bottom-line.
Others include forecasting and tracking key account metrics, establishing sales objectives for products, segments and regions, maintaining sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.
At BizNurture, Ife is also responsible for developing and implementing strategic marketing plan and leading market research efforts.
