Niger Insurance Plc has notified the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) and the company’s shareholders about a regulatory order issued on the Company by the industry regulator –National Insurance Commission (NAICOM).

The regulatory order was issued on the Company when its Board and Management Team met with the National Insurance Commission on March 23, 2020, according to TOLG Nominees, Company Secretary, Niger Insurance Plc.

Among other discussions made, the following are the orders issued on Niger Insurance: that the Company shall not dispose of any of its assets without written approval of the Commission; that the Company shall submit to the Commission monthly report of its activities together with the monthly Management account; and that the Management shall invite the Commission to attend all Board meetings of the Company as an observer.
