The Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (CIIN) will on Saturday, May 11, 2013 hold its yearly Fitness Walk. The event will commence from the National Stadium, Surulere in the Lagos and proceed en-route the Western Avenue to Ikorodu road, to terminate at Anthony bus-stop in the premises of Niger Insurance Plc.
The yearly Fitness Walk, also tagged the Road Show, is an insurance awareness platform involving all certified insurance operators in Lagos. Director General of the CIIN, Adegboyega Adepegba, in a release signed by Joseph Obah, said the Fitness Walk has become a regular feature of the institute’s yearly calendar of activities. He added that no less than 1,500 participants dressed in the CIIN colours will fly the banners of their respective companies while educating members of the public on essential insurance services and products.
