Almond Insurance index sets benchmark for industry performers

Insurance compliance officers list key regulatory concerns

After a month-long nomination for top insurance personalities and organisations shaping the risk management sector, Almond is set to collate voting from practitioners, consumers and other stakeholders with its measurement index to benchmark who the cap fits.

Almonds said the nomination has been vigorously conducted to ensure that only those who merit the enlistment made it, having taken into consideration all the fundamentals including regulatory compliance.

Prisca Soares, chairman, Awards Panel of Judges in her welcome remarks at the Unveiling of Nominees for the 2024 Almond Insurance Industry Awards held in Lagos said she is thrilled by the Industry’s enthusiastic response to this year’s Awards. “The meticulous nomination process which spanned over a month saw active participation from top management, corporate entities, and individual clients, all nominating based on the provided criteria.

“This year, we witnessed a significant increase in participation from Insurance Industry Stakeholders, and is evident in the number of nominations received totalling 392 compared to last year’s 101, she said.

Soares said, “The 288.12 percent increase in participation in the nomination process is a testament to the growing recognition and prestige of the Almond Awards within and outside the Insurance Industry.”
