Jipa Network, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Flying Doctors Nigeria to enhance medical evacuation services, and specialty care coordination globally.

The partnership aims to harness the resources of both companies to lower the cost of efficient medical services.

Jipa Network is an international patient care coordination company with a network of over 300,000 healthcare providers across the Caribbean, Latin America, and the United States.

Flying Doctors Nigeria is a global healthcare and emergency medical response service with footprints in over 160 countries.

Patients are poised to benefit from mutual network access, connecting up to 500,000 healthcare providers worldwide.

This collaboration will allow Flying Doctors Nigeria patients to access JIPA’s renowned neuroscience and specialty care services at preferential rates, addressing challenges in securing timely appointments with top specialists.

A key element of the agreement is the facilitation of insurance and payment support. JIPA will assist Flying Doctors Nigeria patients to navigate payments with US-based insurance providers, ensuring smoother financial transactions and reducing administrative hurdles.

Flying Doctors Nigeria will also provide medical evacuation services for African patients seeking treatment through JIPA, enabling swift and efficient patient transfers under a structured contractual agreement.

Additionally, this partnership expands treatment destinations for patients of both organisations, providing access to top medical facilities in the Caribbean, Latin America, the United States, Africa, the Middle East, and Europe.

Recognizing the importance of coordinated patient care, JIPA and Flying Doctors Nigeria will work together on clinical care coordination, cost containment, and fee negotiations, ensuring a streamlined experience for patients requiring complex care.

Both organizations are also committed to exchanging expertise and best practices in international catastrophic care coordination, further enhancing healthcare efficiency and patient outcomes globally.
