Healthcare federation to collaborate with Nigerian healthcare excellence award

The Healthcare Federation of Nigeria (HFN) and the Nigerian Healthcare Excellence Award (NHEA) are to collaborate on the forthcoming 7th edition of the Award. The Award is scheduled to take place on June 25, 2021 at Eko Hotel & Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.

Pamela Ajayi, president HFN says, “we are pleased to communicate our acceptance and willingness to collaborate with your organization for the success of the 2021 edition of the NHEA. We are particularly excited as this would showcase the efforts of the Nigerian private healthcare sector stakeholders towards strengthening the nation’s healthcare system.”

Responding, Wale Alabi, project director NHEA, expressed the Local Organising Committee’s (LOC) delight on this development.

“HFN has been part of NHEA in the last five years; your decision to continue on this path is a testament of what the achieved and contributed in the promotion and recognition of the Nigerian healthcare practitioners and institutions, especially in the private sector. We are committed to strengthening the NHEA platform to ensure our healthcare heroes receives the celebration they deserve.”

HFN is expected mobilize their members to actively participate in the Award process.

NHEA, the Oscar of Nigerian healthcare, is an annual event where outstanding personalities and organizations in both the public and private sectors are recognized and celebrated for their exceptional contributions to the Nigerian healthcare sector. This initiative, through research and innovation by an eminent team has continued to encourage improvements and focus on quality and standard of service provided by various stakeholders in the industry.

NHEA 2021 has 5 main award categories with 28 sub-categories. Nominations for the different award categories have been received already from over 11,000 stakeholders and members of the public.

NHEA has received endorsement and support from the Federal Ministry of Health Nigeria (FMOH), Nigeria Medical Association (NMA), National Association of Nigeria Nurses and Midwives (NANNM), Medical Laboratory Association of Nigeria (MLAN), Health & Managed Care Association of Nigeria (HMCAN), Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN), PharmaNews, Association of General & Private Medical Practitioners of Nigeria (AGPMPN), NAFDAC and other related government agencies.

NHEA is organised by Global Health Project and Resources (GHPR) in collaboration with Anadach Group, USA.
