Industry leaders to interrogate Nigeria’s oil and gas reforms at NOGO conference

Organiser of Nigeria Oil & Gas Outlook (NOGO), Eventhive, Africa’s B2B event servicing company, has promised a robust event this year that will bring industry leaders, policymakers, regulators, financiers, indigenous energy champions, global operators and innovators shaping Nigeria’s petroleum sector

According to a statement, the theme of this year’s event to be held in Lagos is “Promise to Performance: Nigeria’s Oil & Gas Inflection Point.”

It said Nigeria’s oil and gas sector has undergone a structural transformation over the past five years, and NOGO 2026 arrives at the moment when that transformation must be tested against actual output.

“ The conference will hold the reform agenda to account across five critical conversations, interrogating whether indigenous operators are producing at scale, diagnosing the governance and infrastructure gaps behind Nigeria’s persistent production shortfall, examining the execution challenge behind the $60 billion Gas Master Plan, assessing the downstream economy taking shape around domestic refining, and exploring offshore as the sector’s next growth engine in an ESG-constrained world

Speaking on the 2026 edition, Jamiu Ijaodola, CEO of Eventhive, said in the statement: “NOGO 2026 is designed to move the conversation from what has changed to what those changes must now produce.
