Northwest University Sokoto (NWUS) has unveiled the official cut-off marks for its undergraduate programmes for the 2026/2027 academic year.

A statement from Abdallah el-Kurebe, Director of Communications, revealed that while most programmes require a cut-off mark of 150, professional and health-related courses demand higher scores.

Medicine and Surgery stood out with a cut-off mark of 200, the highest threshold among all courses at the university.

The Director also noted that Common and Islamic Law requires a score of 180, while fields such as Medical Laboratory Science, Nursing Science, Doctor of Physiotherapy, Public Health, and Radiography each set their bar at 160.

A minimum cut-off mark of 150 is required for several programmes.

These include Accounting, Biology, Business Administration, Computer Science, Cyber Security, Economics, Information Technology, Library and Information Science, Psychology, Public Administration, Sociology, Software Engineering, and Special Education.
