The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has suspended eight universities from offering law admissions for the 2025/2026 academic session.

According to a statement by Fabian Benjamin, JAMB’s spokesperson, these institutions have violated regulatory procedures set by the Council of Legal Education (CLE), resulting in the suspension of their Law programs for the 2025/2026 academic session

“As a result, JAMB will not approve any admissions for candidates seeking to enrol in the Law programme at the aforementioned universities for the 2025/2026 academic session,” Benjamin said.
