Speaking on international travel,Sani urged those travelling outside the country to upload their PCR results in the laid out portal to enable easier verification by the immigration and port health officials at the Airport.

According to Sani, the demand on the portal has been significant, assuring that the PTF is working with its partners the CACOVID to resolve some concerns in the portal.

Sani also noted that the PTF has held a meeting with the northern traditional counci, and with the grand patron, the Sultan of Sokoto,His Eminence Alhaji Sa’ad Abubakar to ensure that the message is driven home with the support of the traditional institutions.

” I think the message has been transmitted and received, but we want to work more closely with the traditional institutions to deepen awareness and improve our response using the recorded model of success in polio eradication.” Sani said.
