Nigeria reported 452 new cases of coronavirus on Wednesday, as the total rose to 21,371.
Out of this, 7,338 had been discharged, while the death toll stood at 533, according to Nigeria Centre for Disease Control.
Among the new cases, Lagos led with 209, followed by Oyo, which reported 67.
Other states’ shares were: Delta-37, Ogun-36, FCT-22, Abia-20, Enugu-16, Bauchi-15, Kaduna-8, Ondo-8, Osun-7, Imo-3, Benue-3, and Borno-1.
On the global scene, as of 3:58pm CEST, 23 June 2020, there had been 8,993,659 confirmed cases of COVID-19, including 469,587 deaths, reported to WHO.
