Nigeria records 1244 new cases of COVID-19 across 18 states

Nigeria on Monday recorded additional 1244 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of infections to 101,331.

According to the daily update by Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), a total of 1,361 deaths have been recorded so far, while 80,491 have been discharged.

A breakdown of the total cases shows that Lagos has the highest with 774 cases, FCT-125, Plateau-102. Anambra-47, Ondo-46, Rivers-27, Edo-18, Kaduna-16, Ogun-16, Gombe-16, Bauchi-11 and Kano-11.

Others are Nasarawa-10, Akwa, Ibom-7, Sokoto-7, Borno-5, Ekiti-4 and Zamfara-2.
