Nigeria adds 403 new cases of #COVID19, as total crosses 16,000

Nigeria’s confirmed cases of coronavirus hit 16,085 on Sunday as 403 new confirmations were recorded.

The number of discharged patients rose to 5,220 while the number of deaths climbed to 420, Nigeria Centre for Disease Control said.

With 73 confirmations, Gombe State displaced Lagos to the second place with 68 on the new cases table.

Other states and their figures were as follows: Kano-46, Edo-36

FCT-35, Nasarawa-31, Kaduna-17, Oyo-16, Abia-15, Delta-13, Borno-13, Plateau-8, Niger-7, Rivers-7, Enugu-6, Ogun-6, Kebbi-3, Ondo-1, Anambra-, and Imo-1.

On the global scene, as of 1:57pm CEST, 14 June 2020, there had been 7,690,708 confirmed cases of COVID-19, including 427,630 deaths, reported to WHO.
