Valleumbra Flour Mills Limited, an indigenous agro-allied products processing firm, based in Aba, Abia State, has promised to maintain its market share despite challenges faced by local manufacturers.
Dickson Ubani, general manager of the firm, in an interview, affirmed that the firm would continue to produce quality products that would give customers value for their money, and appealed to government to address the infrastructure challenges in the country.
Ubani identified erratic power supply as a major hindrance to manufacturing in the country, and urged handlers of the various power projects in the country, especially the independent power project (IPP) at Alaoji and the Geometric Power Limited, Osisioma, not to fail in their promise to complete the projects this year.
He observed that the completion of the power plants would definitely help improve power supply in the area, stressing that manufacturing firms like his cannot do anything without efficient and constant power supply.
