Unity Bank Relocates Corporate Headquarters to Lagos

Unity BAnk

Unity Bank Plc has concluded plans to relocate its Corporate Headquarters from the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja to Lagos in an effort to harness opportunities which the country’s commercial hub holds.

The relocation which has been approved by the Central Bank of Nigeria, (CBN) is in line with the Bank’s strategic business focus to deepen its clientele base in SME Financing, Agriculture, and Retail Banking.  With decreased dependence on Public Sector deposits, it became necessary for the Bank to improve its spread and market presence in key geographical areas, particularly the commercial nerve-centers of the economy.

The Bank’s new Corporate Headquarters in Lagos, is located at Plot 42, Ahmed Onibudo Street in the central business district of Victoria Island.  This will provide the Bank with the platform to enhance its services, deepen its level of market penetration in addition to positioning the Bank to compete favourably with its peers in the industry.

Unity Bank by this move, seeks to aggressively improve its visibility and strengthen its brand equity, and would be better positioned to take advantage of market opportunities in Commercial, and Consumer Banking businesses, thereby aiding its long-term objective of being the Retail Bank of Choice in Nigeria.

The relocation will be conducted in phases, and executed seamlessly to ensure the Banks’s ability to deliver timely and efficient delivery of service to its esteemed customers is not compromised.
