Trophy excites consumers with unveiling of tallest beer bottle

Trophy premium lager has excited its consumers with the unveiling of the tallest beer bottle in a gigantic fiberglass structure that stood at a height of 14 metres or 45.9 feet and 3.8 metres or 12.5 feet in diameter.

The Trophy fibreglass structure appears to be the tallest ever owing to the absence of a record of its type, according to the Guinness World Records.

Speaking at the unveiling at the Ikeja City Mall in Lagos recently, Tolulope Adedeji, marketing director, International Breweries Plc, said the unveiling of Nigeria’s tallest beer bottle was to commemorate Trophy’s number one position in the country’s beer market.

While stating that the feat would not have been possible without the support and patronage of its loyal consumers, Adedeji said the unveiling provides an opportunity for the company to celebrate its consumers through the ‘waa gbayi experience’.

“As the flagship product of International Breweries Plc and a proud part of AB Inbev, world’s largest brewers with more than 400 beer brands, Trophy has consistently set the pace in recognising and rewarding consumers,” Adedeji added.

Bamise Oyegbami, marketing manager of Trophy, said the Trophy brand is unique in many ways and represents qualities such as hard work, ambition, integrity, and camaraderie.

“We refer to the Trophy consumer as ‘Honourable’ because of our deep conviction that our consumers are a reflection of our brand, and so for us, it is not just about making the next sale, rather, it is the desire to consistently give our consumers a unique experience and that’s why we have erected the largest fibreglass structure of a muskie,” Oyegbami said.

Femi Adebayo, Trophy Brand Ambassador said there is no doubt that Trophy has set the bar high with the unveiling of the tallest beer bottle. “It’s a magnificent piece and represents Trophy Lager’s domination of the beer market in Nigeria.”

Femi Oyeleke, a loyal Trophy consumer, who named Trophy as his go-to brand for optimum relaxation, expressed delight for experiencing the beauty and grandeur of the gigantic bottle.

“I came to see a movie but was amazed to see the new Trophy bottle and the deserved buzz around it. I salute the uncommon thinking of International Breweries and Trophy as well as their commitment to daring to do something different,” Oyeleke said.

The highlight of the event was treating consumers who purchased up to six cans of Trophy to the ‘waa gbayi experience,’ which added colour and fun to the day. The tallest beer bottle will also be unveiled in the ancient city of Ibadan.
