Toyota Nigeria emerges automobile brand of the year

Toyota suspends production in Japan due to blast at supplier’s plant

Toyota Nigeria Limited (TNL) was conferred with an award as the best automobile brand of the year at the Businessday banks and other financial institutions (Bafi) awards, held recently in Nigeria’s commercial capital.

It clinched the honour amidst after a rigorous assessment by a carefully selected panel of judges, in the keenly contested category, the company said in a statement.

Speaking at the event, the Managing Director, Kunle Ade-Ojo dedicated the award to the teeming customers of Toyota, assuring them that the company will continue to offer the best in sales and aftersales.

He added that the company will continue to put in place structures that will add value to the company’s service delivery to ensure that our customers remain happy and committed to the brand.

“In the company’s tradition of making their customers happy, a budget vehicle will be launched in the first quarter of 2021. Expectedly, the vehicle is imbued with the Toyota superior quality technology and aesthetics and worth looking forward to its introduction into the Nigerian market,” Ade-ojo said in a statement.

He thanked all customers of the brand for their patronage and promised that the company will not relent on its mission of making happy customers.

Toyota (Nigeria) Limited remains the sole distributor of Toyota products for Toyota Motor Corporation (TMC) Japan in Nigeria.

The company is well-positioned pan-Nigeria to provide industry-best aftersales service in the areas of genuine parts, vehicles servicing/repairs and sales of Toyota vehicles approved for Nigerian roads/environment by TMC Japan.
