Touchdown Travels strengthens operation for holistic, smarter experience

One of Nigeria’s travel management companies, Touchdown Travels has unveiled new operational tools and partnerships that make its travel offerings holistic and smarter.

The Company in a single tool now enables its customers, supplies, and partners to enjoy a complete bouquet of services beginning from VISA, to flights to hotels and to tourism attractions in their different destinations, among others.

Olufunsho Ekundayo, chief operating officer (COO) of the company said touchdown is about total value creation for customers and partners.

Ekundayo said ‘with a touchdown, all your travel needs are met in a single tool, saying it’s just about finding new ways to do things better.”

Speaking at the Company’s Corporate Fair 2022 held in Lagos, Ekundayo said touchdown is expanding its partnership to increase offerings and attractive benefits for its teaming customers.

“We have entered into a partnership with Dubai Tourism, and this enables our customers to get the best prices of all that is available in that region, which has grown to be one of the most recognisable destinations worldwide with its lavish architecture, incredible skylines and giant shopping malls.

What this means is that we have become an extension of Dubai in Nigeria for whatever you are looking for, is it leisure, is it business, other activities you want to all, all of those things we have direct access, he said.

Among the most progressive destinations in the Middle East, Dubai is also the home to Burj Khalifa, the tallest human-made building globally. While Abu Dhabi is the capital of the UAE, Dubai is the most popular & populous city.

The Company, which recorded an N22 billion turnover in 2019, announced also recently that it has strategically rebranded to better communicate the best of what the company represents, ensuring alignment with the company’s vision and value proposition.

Ekundayo said, for over twenty-eight years the company has provided travel solutions and facilitated seamless travel experiences.

However, with this rebrand comes an even better experience for clients. As we forge into the future, excellent customer service delivery through optimized processes would be at the heart of everything we do, he added.”
