The lifestyle of Emeka Collins was positively changed last week by StarTimes ExtraTime promo as he became the winner of a brand new 2014 Toyota Yaris car.

Collins, with decoder number 02145752931, was a StarTime subscriber for only six days before the news of his fortune was broke to him.

“How can that be true? I don’t believe! I was motivated by the programmes they run. I do not have a car at the moment. I do not know where to start thanking StarTimes. I am convinced now, but seeing is believing,” he said, out of excitement.

The second promo draw also featured other 50 customers who won StarTimes 32’ LED digital TV.

Ayodele Idowu, branch strategist, NTA-Star Network, who spoke with journalists immediately after the promo draw, said: “StarTimes has a mission of ensuring that every home in Nigeria enjoys affordable digital TV,” saying it was an avenue to give back to customers and appreciate them for being on the platform.

StarTimes recently unveiled its ExtraTime Promo, where customers stand the chance of winning a brand new 2014 Toyota Yaris car. Customers would also be rewarded with an extra viewing day on the StarTimes’ Soccer card and its promo card, during the promotion period that started May and will run till end of August.

To qualify for the promo, new subscribers stand the chance of winning a brand new 2014 Toyota Yaris car or a 32’ LED Digital TV at the monthly draws on the purchase of the StarTimes decoder, which comes with a month’s free subscription. On the other hand, existing subscribers stand the chance of winning promo prizes by recharging with a StarTimes Soccer card or the usual StarTimes’ recharge card during the promo period. There are also instant gifts like the 32’ LED digital TV sets or units of Viju Milk to be won. Instants prizes are to be redeemed at designated StarTimes’ prize redemption centres.

Monthly draws for the promo would hold at StarTimes’ Lagos head office at the end of each month until the promo ends in August. The dates for the draws are May 30, June 27, which has been held, July 31, and August 29, 2014.

Currently, StarTimes sports channels are NTA Sports 24, Setanta Action, Setanta Africa, NBA TV, and MCS Sports. Soccer lovers can watch live matches of the FIFA World Cup moments on NTA Sports 24.
