SPAR’s drink festival brings together industry giants

The just-concluded five days drink festival organised by SPAR Nigeria brought together leading players in Nigeria’s wine, spirits and beer market.

Themed ‘Wine, Spirits and Beer Festival’ the event treated shoppers and wine lovers across Nigerian states such as Enugu, Calabar, Port Harcourt and Lagos to superlative musical performances by favourite artists and performers.

SPAR Nigeria partnered with major spirits and beer brands like Johnnie Walker, Smirnoff, Campari, Guinness and Nigerian Breweries for the musical concerts.

“We are very happy with the success of the Wine, Spirits and Beer Fest and delighted with the grand success of the musical concerts across five locations,” said John Goldsmith, SPAR’s spokesperson.

Smirnoff anchored the musical concerts in Enugu and Calabar with major artists such as DJ Spinall; Ill Bliss; Zoro; Slowdogs and MI.

The musical event in Port Harcourt was co-hosted by Campari which drew large crowds and A-list artists like 2Baba, Duncan Mighty; DJ Jimmy Jatt; Kelly Handsome; Harrysong among many others.

“Participants were completely enthralled throughout the event. They had a great time enjoying mouth-watering cocktails, great food, rib-cracking comedy, mixology sessions and of course, stage performances from various artists in an electric atmosphere,” Goldsmith said.
