Sanofi seeks to develop local talent pool, launches internship

Sanofi has inaugurated an internship programme targeted at identifying and developing young talents into future businesses leaders.

The Sanofi Journey, Opportunities and You, ( JOY) initiative seeks to raise exceptional competences, building a local pool of talents that is globally competitive.

The internship is open to people who have an educational background in medicine, pharmacy or the social sciences. This also requires being a fresh graduate who is ready for their National Service or pharmacy internship by February 2021.

Successful applicants can expect to receive up to 12 months of internship in a fast-paced multinational environment where they have opportunities to work on innovative projects and collaborate with people across other jurisdictions.

Profiles of individuals who demonstrate outstanding performance during the internship programme will be kept in Sanofi’s talent pool to be considered for employment when such an opportunity becomes available.

According to Folake Odediran, general manager (General Medicines) at Sanofi Nigeria- Ghana and country lead Nigeria, “Africa is replete with talented individuals who are desirous of opportunities to advance their careers and step change the fortunes of the continent.”

Odediran said at Sanofi, “we’ll help you realise your potential. Working alongside some of the brightest minds in our industry, you’ll learn and grow and be on your way toward becoming one of Africa’s next- generation business leaders.”
