Keena Partners, one of Nigeria’s leading law firms, says it remains committed to innovative legal solutions as it marks 30 years of refined law practice, delivering services to clients, and contributing to socio-economic development of the country.

Authorities of the law firm told BusinessDay that as part of activities marking the 30 years anniversary, they would be hosting a colloquium on ‘Reforming the Socio-Political and Economic Environment of Business in Nigeria: The Imperative for Governance’.

The colloquium, according to them, would gather leaders from the public and private sectors as well as academia in a bid to chart a sustainable path for the nation.

“In addition to the colloquium, we will be conducting a brand refresh to mark three decades of refined law practice and delivering services to clients, and contributing to socio-economic development,” Fabian Ajogwu, a Professor, Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), the firm’s founder and Senior Partner, said.

“The 30th anniversary is a significant milestone in our journey as a law firm; we are proud of what we have achieved over the years and are committed to continuing our tradition of providing innovative solutions to clients in a reserved manner,” he added.

He disclosed that their brand refresh is the creation of a new logo which bears a reminder of reserved ethos of professionalism and high duty to the client and the courts, pointing out that the new identity reflects the growth of the brand and its commitment to providing excellent service to clients and society.

Besides the colloquium, the firm is also organizing an essay competition for law graduates across the country which, Ajogwu said, was geared towards demonstrating that the legal profession had a profound role in the country’s development.

“The top 5 entries will be sponsored through the Nigerian Law School, providing an opportunity for young and aspiring lawyers to build their career and contribute to national development,” he said.

“As part of its pre-colloquium activities, the firm will also be hosting industry-focused seminars and business-focused events aimed at cross-fertilizing ideas in the Nigerian business sector for exponential economic growth,” he said, adding, “The events will bring together business leaders, regulators, and experts in various fields to discuss the business sector challenges and explore ways to drive growth and development.”
