Champion Breweries Plc has notified the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE), its shareholders and the investing public of the appointment of Georgios I. Polymenakos as the Managing Director of Champion Breweries Plc.

This follows the resolution of the Board of Directors of the Company in their meeting held on Thursday December 12, 2019. The appointment became effective January 6, 2020.

Polymenakos replaces Patrick Ejidoh who retired as Managing Director of Champion Breweries after three years at the helm of affairs of the Company and after a career spanning over 32 years.

Champion Breweries shares listed on the Exchange currently trade at 98kobo per share, representing 3.2percent gain in 2020.

The Board of Directors of Champion Breweries Plc thanks Ejidoh immensely for all his hard work and wish him the very best in his future endeavor.
