Peacock Travels has introduced a new summer travel package, ‘Easy-to-pay’ that enables prospective summer travellers pay for their summer trip in three installments, saving at least 30 percent on the cost.
This is just as Jordanian carrier, Royal Air Jordanian Airlines has partnered the travel company to introduce affordable holy pilgrimage to Jordan.
The partnership, signed recently between the airline and the travel management company, grants Peacock Travels the exclusive right to handle this year’s holy pilgrimage package to and fro Jordan.
The summer package from Peacock, known a Easy-to-pay, is designed to help summer vacationers pay for their summer trip without much financial burden.
Commenting on the package, Segun Philips , the Group Executive Chairman of Peacock Travels & Tours Limited, said, “This package allows a customer to make all travel arrangements with the convenience of advance and instalment payments before the Travel date.
“Customer shall pay 50 percent of the total cost as first installment, subsequent and final installment payments shall be 25 percent and 25percent respectively within a mutually agreed period before travel date. By so doing, the passenger saves 30 percent of total fare.”
Speaking on the pilgrims package, Phillips noted that the partnership will help to build a relationship and network between Nigerians and Jordanians, among other numerous benefits He said he was glad to seal the partnership through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Jordanian carrier. According to him, the package will allow prospective pilgrims to experience Jordan Holy land from 5th to 10 July, 2013 adding hotel accommodation, visa to Jordan, flight tickets, entrance fees to tour sites, transportation for D1/2/4, health insurance, and bed & breakfast are all included in the offer.
The company says prospective pilgrims will visit several biblical & historic sites such as: the baptism site of Jesus Christ; Mount Nebo, where Moses died and was buried; the place of the snake bite; Bethany; and the dead sea, which cures all ailments, among other interesting sites.
“The Jordan Valley has profound meaning for religious travellers. The old and new testament places recorded in the bible are still found here. River Jordan should ring a bell to all Christians because a reputable army was cured after dipping himself in this river and also Jesus as baptised in the same river.”
