Oyo parts dealers get N50m loan, as Ajimobi promises market upgrade

The 0yo State Government is to give N50 million  interest-free loan to traders and artisans at Araromi spare parts market, Agodi Gate, Ibadan.

This is as Governor Abiola Ajimobi of Oyo State has promised to upgrade the facilities at the market ,

The governor, who made the announcement concerning the loan during his visit to the market, reiterated his administration’s commitment to alleviating the plight of the traders and artisans.

As part of the rehabilitation plan, he said that the bridge linking the market with the adjoining Onipasan area would be rehabilitated by the state government.

He also said that a well-equipped clinic would be built in the market to provide medical services for the traders as part of his administration’s healthcare delivery programme.

The governor urged the leaders of the market to set up a committee to work with the officials of the state government to ensure equitable disbursement of the loan to the traders.

While reiterating his administration’s commitment towards the welfare of the people of the state, Governor Ajimobi appealed to those who were yet to benefit from the interest-free loan to exercise patience, as they would be taken care of.

He called on the people of the state to continue to support his administration in the implementation of its various laudable projects.

In his remarks, Leader of the market, Gade Orodele assured the governor of the support and cooperation of the traders and artisans.
