The Nigerian Exchange Group (NGX Group) will on Wednesday engage the capital market stakeholders as it prepares to unveil the E-Offering Platform that eases capital raising on the Exchange.

The groundbreaking digital platform, subject to the approval of the Securities and Exchange Commission, aims to revolutionise the public offerings and Rights Issue process in the Nigerian capital market by providing a smarter, more convenient, and more efficient way to manage public offers.

The event on Wednesday, June 26 will feature Emomotimi Agama, Director General, Securities and Exchange Commission.

The group had last month at its annual meeting in Lagos noted that its digital transformation journey would include an online platform for public offers and deep investments in its technology stack, among others.

“The platform will provide a smarter and efficient way for Issuers to raise capital and enhances the subscription process and operational workflow of POs in the capital market, including initial public offerings (IPOs), rights issues and other public offers,” the NGX Group had noted.
