NAHCO appoints new executive director

The Nigerian Aviation Handling Company PLC, (nahco aviance), has announced the appointment of Folashade Ode as Executive Director, Corporate, Legal Services and Company Secretary.

The appointment was announced just as the retirement of Bolaji Balogun and Usman Arabi Bello from the board of the Company took effect.

Ode, whose appointment takes immediate effect, would execute her new office with the former role of Company Secretary.

According to Tayo Ajakaye, Manager, Communications & Corporate Services of the company, the new ED is a graduate of Lagos State University, Ojo, Lagos, where she obtained her LL.B (HONS) and an MBA in international business. She is a member of many professional bodies, including the Nigeria Bar Association, International Bar Association and Nigeria Institute of Management.

Ode is said to be a highly motivated and hardworking solicitor with over twenty-five years cognate experience in corporate and commercial law and has exhibited unparalleled professionalism in the course of her career.

She has a diploma in Insurance, a Law degree from the Lagos State University (class of 1990) and was called to the bar in 1991.

She obtained her MBA (International Business) in 2005 from the Lagos State University.

She has attended several leadership and management courses in Nigeria and abroad.

Ode is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association, International Bar Association and the Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM) and has contributed immensely to the growth of the Company.
