Minister Tijani tours SecureID Limited Plant, explores smartcard Innovation

Bosun Tijani, the Minister of Communications, Innovation, and Digital Economy, recently visited SecureID Limited, the premier certified smartcard manufacturing plant in sub-Saharan Africa. This is as part of his bid to ensure digital transformation and bolstered security measures in Nigeria

The minister’s visit aimed to familiarize himself with the plant’s capacity and machinery for smartcard production within the Nigerian landscape. It also served as a pivotal opportunity for SecureID Limited to advocate for supportive policies and government backing to enhance their operations and contribute to the nation’s digital and security infrastructure.

Speaking during the visit, Minister Tijani said, “I am impressed by the technology and dedication to excellence displayed by SecureID Limited.
