JMG partners with Mitsubishi to support power sector privatisation in Nigeria

JMG Limited, leader in the power generation industry in Nigeria, has announced a new partnership with Mitsubishi Turbocharger and Engine Europe B.V. (being the headquarters of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Ltd products in Europe, Middle East and Africa).

 

JMG has been appointed by Mitsubishi Turbocharger and Engine Europe B.V. as a new sales and service partner in Nigeria for the power generation industry. MTEE is rapidly expanding its global footprint in engine, generator & power plant provision in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Mazen Jubaili, Managing Director of JMG said: “For many years JMG Limited has been operating throughout the Nigerian Federation. During this time we have invested heavily in equipment, training and personnel in order to be well and truly recognized as a favored supplier of power generation equipment and maintenance services. The power sector in Nigeria is undergoing positive reform, paving the way for significant economic growth in all industries.

Advanced power solutions will be required to meet Nigeria’s growing demand.

This enables us to provide uncompromised and cost effective power suitable for all applications including Cogeneration and Tri-generation. Turnkey power plants for industrial applications or to supply the national grid are now available from JMG. Not forgetting emergency standby sets that will always remain an integral part of our services,” said Rabi Jammal, JMG’s Head of Sales.

Morten Brix, Sales and Marketing Manager of Mitsubishi Turbocharger and Engine Europe B.V. said: “Working closely together with new local power generation dealers has proved highly cost-effective and fits our needs like a glove. To kick off and celebrate this new partnership, we have participated with success at the Nigeria Oil & Gas exhibition 2014 and we are very pleased of its outcome.”

JMG’s launch pad for this exciting new venture was the Nigerian Oil and Gas Exhibition from the 18th to the 20th of March in Abuja.

The Honorable Minister of Power, Prof. Chinedu Nebo and Andrew Yakubu, the Group Managing Director of NNPC visited JMG’s stand.

Experts from JMG, Mitsubishi Turbocharger and Engine Europe B.V. and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Ltd met with all visitors and were delighted to answer all questions.
