HAMS Beauty Fair, a first of it’s kind beauty fair which would feature stakeholders from Nigeria’s beauty landscape including skincare brands, hair brands, cosmetics, and perfume brands amongst others is set to hold in August, 2021.

The fair which would feature about 100 leading beauty brands at Federal Palace Hotel, V.I Lagos is Organised by TOUV concepts in partnership with Bella Naija, Decatos Print & Exhibition Limited, and Wildflower PR & Company.

This is just as Esther Agunbiade, a reality TV star, beauty brand ambassador and actress was unveiled as the fair’s brand ambassador.

Speaking at a press conference to announce the event, Oge Obiefuna, HAMS Fair convener, said that a world class beauty fair will be holding on the 7th and 8th of August 2021 at the outer ballroom of the Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos.

Obiefuna said that one of the major goals of the fair is to create temporary employment, and a platform for both new and old brands, as well as local and international brands to showcase their brands and come in contact with their desired consumers.

“The beauty industry in Nigeria and indeed Africa is a billion-dollar industry, and HAMS which is an acronym for (Hair, Makeup, and Skincare) intends to bring all these players together directly to meet and interact with their consumers,” she said.

Also speaking at the event, Oma Areh, founder, Wildflower PR Firm stated that the fair which would feature about 100 leading beauty brands is a premium beauty fair that would have practitioners in the beauty firm from both within and across in attendance with their world class beauty products.

Areh said the essence of the fair is to provide maximum opportunity for people that own beauty brands to showcase their products.

The design exhibition partner for the fair, Franca NjokuDuru of Decatos exhibition Limited, said the event is one that promises all exhibitors a good atmosphere for their exhibitions as it will be all about beauty.

With regards to other provisions, Njoku-duru said there are going to be booths, as well as tables and chairs for exhibitors.

According to her, the tables will be big enough to contain whatever the exhibitor would want to exhibit and there would be power point for anyone that would want to power their personal devices like laptops, phones, etc,” she added.
