In line with its mission to provide 1,000 housing units in Nigeria before 2035, Gtext Homes, a fast growing real estate company recently unveiled Beryl Roselium, a green and smart luxury estate.
The luxury estate is situated at Idado-Eleko, along the Dangote refinery and Lekki free trade zone axis of Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos state.
Stephen Akintayo, CEO, Gtext Homes, promoters of Beryl Roselium, said housing deficit along the axis is huge in terms of expertriat working within the Lekki free trade zone and Dangote refinery. According to him, the estate provides unique experience.
Akintayo states further that Beryl Roselium as a green and smart luxury estate will not be connected with the national grid because Gtext Homes is building a sustainable city; while every waste generated in the estate will be recycled.
According to Akintayo, real estate is inflation-prove; “you can’t go wrong with real estate,” he said assuring investors that the company is ready to deliver 25, 000 green and smart homes in 10 to 15 years time.
Gtext Homes started the estate late 2019, and as developed over 200 meters of parameter fence with the gate house. “It is an habitable place,” he said.

Mike Okiro, former IG of police, said part of what causes criminality is unemployment. Hence, Gtext Homes is bridging the unemployment gap by giving jobs to the youth, especially those of the host communities. “Lots of people will be off the streets,” he said.
Okiro who is also on the board of the company on security matters said Beryl Roselium upon completion depicts what an estate should look like. According to him, every estate in Nigeria should have a police post to ensure safety of lives and property.
The former police boss assured investors that the company will deliver on the estate in the next 5 to 10 years; saying, “this place will be a place people will like to be in. Beryl is a place to be,” Okiro said.
Speaking further on the general security and socio-economic situation of the country, Okiro said, “we have come to a place in Nigeria where we are doing what government is supposed to do; a good human being needs a place to rest; that is what we are providing,” he stated.
Opemipo Loto, sales manager, Gtext Homes, said unveiling Beryl Roselium on June 5, when the world is commemorating ‘World Environment Day’ shows the importance Gtext Homes places on the environment.
According to her, the estate is promoting green and smart luxury apartments because the developers believe strongly in foing green. “Gtext Homes, Beryl Roselium is going to be a block of flats with glamour,” she said.
