Globasure Technology deploys smart roaming solution in Unity Bank

Globasure Technology Limited, fast growing IT solution and service provider, has expanded its clientele base with the signing of partnership deal with Unity Bank plc to deploy its groam SIM cards on the bank’s Point-of-sale (PoS) terminals nationwide.

This is a big development for Globasure, given the fact that Unity Bank is one of the fast growing and successful banks in Nigeria.

According to the company, Groam – is a special SIM card which automatically connects a general packet radio service (GPRS) device to the strongest network (MTN, Glo, Airtel and Etisalat) ensuring you have the best possible coverage where ever the device is located.

Groam was developed by Globasure to counter the big issue of GPRS connectivity in

Africa and particularly in Nigeria. This issue is most probably the biggest challenge facing PoS accessibility and acceptance in Nigeria.

Globasure, according to the management, has designed this technology with one of the largest European network companies, having unique GPRS service in the payment industry and available in over 100 countries for data only.

With the groam system, Unity Bank will be guaranteed enhanced and stable GPRS connectivity for all their PoS terminals, which will vastly improve customer satisfaction across all their bank branches,
