Luxury men’s wear fashion house Okunoren Twins has opened its retail space in Lagos. The House is Nigeria’s foremost garment manufacturer with over 11 years in the industry. Founded by brothers – Taiwo and Kehinde Okunoren, the company has grown over the years from a small design house into a fully diversified clothing establishment catering to large multi-national organisations and high net-worth individuals.

According to a statement by the firm, it is focused on going wholly retail by setting up shopping outlets across the country. The firm’s flagship store recently opened in Dolphin Estate Ikoyi, and has witnessed a flurry of activity as various dignitaries pay them a visit to purchase their products.fashion_retail

Some of whom include Oby Ezekwesili, former vice president of the World Bank, who cited that enterprising ventures such as these need to be encouraged by government and financial institutions in order to flourish and create the much needed boost for the economy. She added that, the garment sector is one to be taken seriously and she did everything she could to gather support for it through education during her tenure as Minister of Education.

The Okunoren brand is synonymous with quality clothing and accessories as the twins continue to push the envelope with their breathtaking designs, which is now evident in their flagship store. The building, which draws inspiration from the neo-classical architectural era, is the epitome of class and sophistication. The Company focuses on strict attention to detail both in terms of design and in running a profitable business. They recently sealed a multi-million-naira deal with UBA and are responsible for clothing all front desk staff at branches nationwide.
