Recently, EG Studios highlighted the transformative success of alumni from its Grooming Talent Hunt (GTH) programme. This development comes on the heels of its fifth anniversary celebration.

Over the past six years, GTH has engaged with more than 3,000 talents and provided support to over 50 individuals, offering financial assistance and mentorship. A year into its inception, EG Studios continues to serve as executive producer for the show.

The celebration spotlighted GTH alumni who are now excelling in the entertainment industry, including Cjay, a talented violinist and role model, and Precious Mac, a fast-rising singer who won the 2020 edition of Grooming Talent Hunt. The event also featured Aremo Gemini, an exceptional spoken word poet and author.

During an inspiring panel session led by Programme Coordinator Michael Adoghe, these alumni shared their experiences on the show and how it served as a significant catalyst for advancing their careers.

Elma Godwin, the CEO of EG Studios, outlined her mission to empower young talent across Africa. She emphasised the importance of nurturing the current talent pool for the growth of the entertainment industry and shared her vision for the initiative’s future. She noted that support from partners like the Grooming Centre would help the program reach more talent nationwide, aiming for increased proactive activities following the program.

“The partnership with the Grooming Centre reflects a dedicated commitment to empowering individuals,” said Godwin. “By providing a launchpad for the next generation of stars, EG Studios has made this dream a reality, demonstrating that with the right support, exceptional talent can indeed thrive on the world stage,” she added.
