Danfoss group rewards winners of its social media competition

 

Danfoss Group, market leader in Engineering Solutions for Cooling and Heating Systems rewarded Two people who won prizes at their February 17th 2016 Brand Launch, on Tuesday at Sheraton Hotels and Suites, Lagos.

David Popoola, Service Engineer, won an Iphone 6 Smart Phone as first prize for having the highest number of ‘likes’ on the Facebook Social Media Competit ion that aims to award the highest number of interest for the company’s launch.

Tomiwa Adebayo, an Electrical Engineering Student of The University of Ilorin won the second prize and was awarded an Ipad Mini for his efforts at the social media competition.

Also Danfoss Group gave a flight ticket to Henry Nwaguma who won the raffle draw at the February 17 launch event in Lagos.

“Danfoss Group is by this event showing that it is a Company that keeps its word,” stated Kolawole Omoyele, Danfoss Business Development Manager (Africa).

He also stated that while Business Activities in the Country is currently slow primarily due to lack of Foreign Exchange to Finance Imports, the company is optimistic that business will pick up in Nigeria when government implements the right policies and probably when the budget is fully implement now that it was just signed by the President, as this will open doors for Projects to commence.

“We are happy that progress is being made in the fight against Corruption and the Boko Haram group is being handled, Government should implement better monetary policies and automate Nigeria’s ports to improve ease of doing business.”

Babajide Samson, CEO of Satek Nigeria Limited, a major distributor of Danfoss products in Nigeria who awarded the prizes said that the Danfoss brand is so prevalent that is found in virtually every household in Nigeria.

“Virtually every Nigerian who uses a Fridge or Other Cooling device uses Danfoss products. It took a lot of effort for me to convince Danfoss to come to Nigeria, and we hope that the brand is sustained in Nigeria because their products are very good,” Mr. Samson Babajide(Satek) said.
