Dana Air has been unveiled as one of the 100 most respected companies in Nigeria, at BuisnessDay’s researched list of top 100 Most Respected Companies Award, held at Protea Westwood Hotels, in Lagos.

According to a survey conducted by BusinessDay’s Research and Intelligence Unit (BRIU),   the respondents rated companies having the best product packaging, advertising and customer compliant resolution centers.

Speaking at the event, Frank Aigbogun; Publisher / CEO of BusinessDay, said the top 100 companies defied all odds and challenges in 2015 to emerge as winners.“I know this year has been challenging for businesses. Business Day takes this project very seriously. We believe that if all the businesses are engaged in baking the cakes as you do, Nigeria will be a better, happier place,’’ Aigbogun said.  We have taken this task painstakingly, going round the country and asking the right questions.  We hope that next year will be better,’’ he noted.

Obi Mbanuzuo, Dana Air’s Manager while receiving the plaque on behalf of Dana Air, expressed appreciation to BusinessDay for the survey and thanked the respondents for their dispassionate contribution to the analysis.

“This is a positive feedback for us at Dana Air, and we are highly honored to be here among the most respected companies in Nigeria.  This is an indication that the flying public recognizes and appreciates our efforts at ensuring efficient customer service and satisfaction. We will continue the good work to ensure that we remain on the list even beyond next year.’’

According to  Obodo Ejiro, BusinessDay’s Senior Research Analyst,   “the annual BusinessDay’s Top 100 companies in Nigeria, was introduced due to the need to  seek the views of customers and other stakeholders on the quality of timeliness and appropriateness of product and services offered by Nigerian companies.  The survey seeks to extricate from over 1,650 medium to big companies operating in Nigeria, those that could go the extra mile in satisfying their customers.”

He noted that “the top 100 companies list of 2015, are known to have contributed immensely to the growth of the Nigerian economy, through job creation, dividend payment to shareholders and corporate social responsibility to various communities in Nigeria.’’
