Cummins out with improved customer focused service delivery options

Cummins West Africa Limited, a frontline provider of power generation systems, components and services in standby power, distributed power generation as part of it strategies to improve customer engagement and service delivery options has opened a new sales office in Victoria Island the metropolitan heart of Lagos.

Kwame Gyan-Tawiah, Director, Cummins West Africa Limited says that Cummins as a customer centric brand is experimenting with different marketing approaches for different consumer segments.

Gyan-Tawiah while speaking at the opening of a new showroom which is part of Cummins Diesel Distribution Business in Nigeria said the company has over the years invested in building in-house capability to design and build projects on turn-key basis.

He further observe that the opening of the showroom gives the brand an opportunity to reach many of these marketing demographics as the busy location means better visibility and ease of access to existing and prospective customers adding that it will also help aid delivery of the different power solution products offered by Cummins and provide the necessary support before and after delivery of products.

According to him, “Cummins generators are low emissions and noise complaint; they are designed to cut fuel consumption by up to 20 percent, our products pass through rigorous quality check and conform fully to Nigeria’s environmental standards.

He further informed that the new showroom is the 5th in Nigeria and 2nd in Lagos adding that there are numerous dealers and shop-fronts that distribute Cummins products across the country.

“Cummins West Africa is a global power leader that designs, manufactures, distributes and service diesel and natural gas engine and related technologies including fuel systems, controls, air handling, filtration, emission solutions and electrical power generation systems” he said

The new Cummins sales office would offer power generation, filtration products and round the clock after sales service and the strategic location of the sales office provides opportunity to reach many customers across different market demographics.
