Baobab Microfinance Bank is expanding its presence in Lagos with a new head office along Ikorodu road, as part of its commitment and growth strategy.
The new office reflects the bank’s strategic focus on strengthening its internal capacity while enhancing the quality and efficiency of services delivered to its customers across the country.
Positioned in one of Lagos’ major commercial corridors, the new head office provides improved accessibility and a more conducive environment to support the company’s expanding operations.
Speaking at the opening, Rotimi Oyekanmi, chairman of the board of Baobab Microfinance Bank, said the commissioning of the new head office is a significant milestone in Baobab Nigeria’s growth journey.
“It reflects the strength of our vision, the resilience of our institution, and our unwavering commitment to expanding access to financial services while delivering long-term value to our customers and stakeholders,” Oyekanmi said.
He explained that as the microfinance bank continues to evolve in response to the needs of its customers and the broader financial ecosystem, the new head office is expected to serve as a central hub for innovation, collaboration, and strategic decision-making.
“The move underscores the organization’s long-term vision of building a resilient institution that is well-equipped to drive sustainable growth and deepen its impact across Nigeria.”
In line with this development, the microfinance bank has also announced that its offices located at Ahmadu Bello Way, Kaduna, and Murtala Muhammed Way, Yaba, Lagos, will now operate as head office Annexes.
This transition, according to the bank, ensures continuity in operations while optimizing its nationwide structure for improved coordination and service delivery.
