FastFX, a British-Nigeria Fintech company, has appointed Maxwell Adeyemi Adeleye as its communications manager, effective March 3, 2025.
According to a statement signed by Damilola Olagunju, the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of FastFX, Adeyemi’s years of experience in political and grassroots communication in Nigeria and brand development in the United Kingdom positions him as a dynamic leader in the industry.
“We are excited to bring Adeleye on board at FastFX, leveraging his exceptional talent to propel our Fintech firm forward. We are confident that his leadership expertise will elevate our brand to new levels of success,” it said.
The statement highlighted that Adeleye will oversee grassroots engagement, marketing, and brand development in his new role as a consultant, ensuring that FastFX achieves its optimal goals in expanding financial inclusion and improving cross-border payment experiences.
“This appointment comes at a crucial moment as FastFX launches KEEP, a revolutionary mobile app designed to offer the best exchange rates and fastest transfers for users sending money from the United Kingdom (UK) to Nigeria,” it added.
Adeleye is a Nigerian-UK based strategic grassroot communications expert with nearly two decades of experience in communication, brand development, and marketing.
He is an entrepreneur with a passion for communications, real estate, research and advocacy, marketing, agricultural value chain, and humanitarian development.
He is an Alumnus of Leeds Beckett University, Leeds, United Kingdom, Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko, Nigeria, University of Lagos, Akoka, Nigeria, Babcock University, Ogun-State, Nigeria and, College of Education, Ikere-Ekiti where he studied Public Relations and Strategic Communications, Political Science and Public Administration respectively.
He is currently a PhD. candidate at Babcock University, Ilishan-Remo, Ogun-State, Nigeria, majoring in budgetary, fiscal/public policy, and service delivery.
He is a member of the Chattered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) – United Kingdom and the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR); member of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations and the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (UK) and an alumni of Leeds Beckett University, Leeds, United Kingdom.
