Diaspora association collaborates with U.S recruiting agency to hire medical lab scientists from Nigeria

The Nigerian Medical Laboratory Scientists in Diaspora (NMLSD) has announced a collaboration with a United States (U.S.) recruiting agency to hire qualified Medical Laboratory Scientists for its workforce.

This announcement was signed by Dr. Shittu Mujeeb, PhD, MSc, AMLSCN, MB(ASCP)CM, the President, NMLSD, as well as Dr. Solomon Umukoro, PhD, FWAPCMLS, FMLSCN, the General Secretary, NMLSD.

To be eligible, candidates must be Nigerian, hold a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science possess a valid license to practise Medical Laboratory Science in Nigeria and be in good standing with the MLSCN.

Eligibility criteria 
The applicant must have passed the Generalist ASCPI (American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) Medical Laboratory Science (MLS) exam

Meet the minimum English language requirements:

IELTS (Academic) – Overall score of 6.5 (minimum 7.0 in Speaking)

TOEFL IBT – Overall score of 83 (minimum 26 in Speaking)
