The total Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) by all states in Nigeria rose to N1.33 trillion in 2019 compared to N1.17 trillion recorded in 2018.
This is revealed in the latest full year IGR report released by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) this afternoon, covering the year 2019.
This indicates a positive growth of 21% percent year-on-year. Lagos state has the highest IGR with N398.73billion recorded, closely followed by Rivers with N140.40billion while Taraba State recorded the least Internally Generated revenue.
